Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
What defines federally fabricated ,governmental coorersion and legally entraped
My 24yr old son is facing a 19+ year sentence for a crime he commited under the forced intimidation of federal agents posing as enforcers for a local motorcycle club, was held cooperated and released without any charges pressed and a week later was arrested under a federal indictment. Federal agents told him at the first time he was held he was not able to talk to an atty for it was not done that way in the federal system. I am a single mother with limited income and know with a paid atty could help my son. Please advise. It seems unreal they can do this to him when the fed agents posing as gang members were allowed to force and threaten him and many others to acomplish there mission. Is this legal?
If so I now understand "loving this country and fearing our government" 8 mos in federal prison and no idea how much longer til sentencing.

I recommend you go to the federal courthouse and read your son's court file. Also, you may wish to speak with the Pretrial Services Officer and your son's lawyer. It does not sound to me as though you are getting the full story.
Suspects are entitled to a lawyer during questioning in the federal system just as they are in any other.
Being counseled to commit a crime by undercover agents is not the same as being forced to commit a crime, and I question the allegation of force. If true, no one is guilty of a crime they are in fact forced to commit.
