Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Is there a difference between ''sexual assault'' and ''rape''?
Personally, I have always been lead to believe that sexual assault and rape are one in the same (some states may just have degrees). Please let me know. Thanks

Ordinarily, rape requires an act of penetration and sexual assault does not.
