Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Discovery
I am involved in a case and have asked for a public defender. The public defender has requested the discovery months ago. Last time I went to court the discovery had not been sent to the public defender. Is their a time period where we can get this dismissed if they can't find the paperwork/discovery?

Re: Discovery
Ask your public defender if there is a speedy trial issue because of failure to provide discovery. It may be that the discovery is available but the PD hasn't picked it up.
