drug possesion
schedule 2 drug possesion of miniscule amount of opium (Herion) and i was wondering what are the possible penalties? this is my first arrest for anything ever

As I understand it, heroin is actually a Schedule 1 drug; possession is a Class 3 felony carrying four to 12 years imprisonment.

Mr. Rosmarin is correct in my view. The smaller the amount, the better chance of a misd offer or defense of lack of knowledge of possession. There is sometimes a deferred sentence offer for first timers, but there are things to beware of there.
How did the cop find the drugs? Why was he searching at all? Did he have permission, warrant, consent? Why did he stop you?
