Drug Treatment Facility

I entered a drug treatment facility where the are suppose to provide a safe environment. while i was in treament i was seduced by another resident and we had anal sex he stated he didn't have any std's before this and I came to find out he in fact has HIV. so my question is should this facility have provided the residents in here with the knowledge of this man having HIV? Now my life is at risk because nobody was unaware of this persons HIV and the staff at the treatment facility was aware of it? is there anything I can do please help me. It is a privately owned drug and alcohol treatment facility licensed with the state.

Let me help you focus your questions. If you want to punish this individual (or this facility) criminally, you must alert the sex crimes unit at the DA's office in the district where this occurred. If you want to get this facility (or individual) to pay for treatment of an actual injury, you would need to sue them civilly, so you should contact a personal injury attorney. Either way, it is a criminal prosecution question (which must be posed to the DA) or a civil lawsuit question(which must be posed to a personal injury attorney); neither of which is a criminal defense matter (which is where you posed your question).
