Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

DV question - Can marraige save my man?
My boyfriend and i had a fight and he accidentally broke my nose. He came right out with the truth to the police, was arrested, and is now facing 2nd degree assault charges. I'm not pressing charges. I have this idea that, would getting married help his case? I do not want him to have a felony on his record, he has too much going for him.

No it wouldn't. What he really needs is a good attorney, as a second degree assault charge carries a mandatory prison sentence. Good luck.
