you cannot expunge records in colorado, but you can have it sealed from public view. There are forms and directions on the Colorado Supreme Court website.

I seal cases for a fee.

Re: espongage of record

You MAY be able to seal this record. It's not a simple question. You can expunge only juvenile records. If not a juvenile, you can seal records in CO. Seal only if the case was: (a) dismissed; (b) you were acquitted at trial. If you enter into a deferred sentence (like it appears you did) then, if you did everything the court asked, it should be dismissed. They are often not dismissed until you contact the Division and move for dismissal. Then, depending on the plea agreement (varies by county of prosecution) you can seal. You can do it yourself, just pay the filing fee and file the petition (sample on court website). If, for any of several reasons, the Petition to Seal is denied, you will need an attorney's help. Good luck. However, in doing sealings and dismissals, I find this to be true: NOTHING GOOD IS AUTOMATIC. You have to fight every step of the way. If I'm just cynical, you will not need me. If not, I'll see you later.
