Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

My ex-husband has been charged with a class 4 & a class 5 felony and already has been previously conficted of a felony. I was told he may get released with nothing but probation? Is that truly a possibility?

I am a victim of domestic violence & am concerned about the possibility of him once again serving no jail time for his actions.

That is a possibility provided the probation department says he is eligible for probation. Well the next time around he will go to prison or to community corrections.

However, if you are the victim of the crimes stated in the question you can tell the DA and the Judge on how you feel and let them know that you want him to go to prison for his actions.
