Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Exsponge
I was convicted of a felony in 1992. I completed a Diversion program and since then the records have been sealed. Since this happened when I was relatively young, I would like to get this wiped off my records. Is it possible to erase a felony off your record at all, and if so how is it done? If it is not possible, what will exsponging the record do?

Re: Exsponge
If the record is sealed then it is off your record for everybody but law enforcement. If it is expunged, then it is sealed. It is never totally off your record. Law enforcment can ask a court to unseal an expunged/sealed record.
