Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Felony Arrest Warrents Expire?
I led a poor childhood. I know I had an arrest warrent in Colorado and changed my ways and never got picked up. The arrest warrent was for a felony theft. I was wondering in what time frame do they not arrest you anymore or if they do expire and how long they are valid. Thanks

Re: Felony Arrest Warrents Expire?
It sounds like you may have been a juvenile when this crime was committed. that would help. Generally felony warrants do not expire, but some do. Most county sheriff's offices have a warrant number where you can call - give name and date of birth and they will call back with information as to if there is an active warrant.
