Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

felony forgery

i was served with court papers to appear in douglas county court on one count of felony fraude. I was also charged with one count of theft under 100.00. what should i consider doing.

You are going to have to appear in court at the time/date specified, lest a warrant be issued for your arrest. You should prepare for trial. You should show the DA pre-trial motions to suppress, etc. Then get a deal, like a deferred. OR file the motions, have a hearing and have a trial. That means GET COUNSEL NOW.

You really need to hire an attorney. Just as if you were sick and needed medical attention, you wouldn't try to treat yourself, you'd go to a doctor. You really need a professional to help you through this, as the last thing you need is a permenant criminal history. Good luck.
