Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Felony Menacing

My 15 yo charged w/threatening a juvenile with a deadly weapon. My son states this did not happen the way he is being charged. First offense ever. What are his chances of being found not guilt? How is juvenile court ran? Can he plea bargain? Can he be represented? What is your thought on his sentencing?

Re: Felony Menacing

It is always better to get legal representation.

I handle such types of cases and a significant portion of my practice is dedicated to criminal law including juvenile criminal law. Ofcourse, if you are indigent you can apply for the public defender which costs you practically nothing.

I will be be pleased to assist your son in his hour of need.

He can plea bargain. He can be represented. Juvenile court is run like district court, only there are no juries. Get him help very soon.

Re: Felony Menacing

My thought is that none of your questions can be answered adequately without engaging an attorney, either public or private, who can examine the facts. A felony charge is not one you should try to handle yourself.

Good luck.
