Depending on the jurisdiction, your prior criminal history and the length of your employment, you could face potential prison time. I would hire an attorney to discuss the matter so things don't get worse. You still have the option of plea bargains or fighting the evidence. The way the District Attorney handles the matter will determine what happens to you.
Re: Felony 4 Theft
It sounds like you need a lawyer. A felony theft on your record will prevent you from getting most jobs, especially ones where you handle money. Although it may seem like a lot of money now, if you hire a good lawyer, you will likely be able to earn money easier in the future. All cases can be won.
