In Colorado right now there is no way to seal a felony conviction. I believe there was an attempt to pass a law this year to undo that, but the governor vetoed the bill.

For your sake, and for the many convicted felons who have lived good lives for many years since and do not deserve a permanent label, I hope there may be a better chance for a bill in the not too distant future.

Where were you this spring? Under current Colorado law, you cannot seal a conviction, no matter how much time has passed. We tried to change that law. A new law, which would grant you relief, was passed by the state house and state senate this spring. The governor then vetoed it. It died, with only lawyers fighting for it. Pay attention. If a later bill becomes law, move to seal the record then.
