As they say, you can run but you can't hide.

Statutes of limitation apply, in the criminal context, to how long the state has to initiate proceedings for an alleged offense. You already have a charge pending your arrest on the warrant. As long as you remain a fugitive, you remain subject to arrest and trial.

To "take care of this" you'll need to return to Colorado to face the music, preferably with an attorney who can orchestrate the arrangement.

If you are arrested elsewhere, and the Colorado felony shows up, you may be extradited.
