Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

female cops needing to be present when searching a females home?

I had 6 or so detectives from another county come to my home and arrest me at which case once they were inside they began to search the home and ask me questions regarding the charge in which i was being arrested for. Being that i am female and live alone (and no one was at my home with me during this arrest), a female officer did not arrive on scene till 5 minutes or so prior to us leaving (with me being arrested of course). The search lasted about an hour long...now what are the laws/or my rights in which pertain to having a female officer there on the property present from beginning to the end of their search? Does that not matter as long as one shows up? or does it need to be from the point of entry to the point of being detained and put in a police car?

So long as they didn't check you for cavities (and I don't mean in a dentally related way), I can't think of any reason a female officer's presence is required during a search of your home.

I would dearly love to be enlightened by another attorney if this is not the case.
