Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
how do I file a 35 c motion, grounds 8(b)(5)? I want to self file because my attorney wants $3500 to handle a reconsideration. If I make one mistake or word it wrong will it be automatically dismissed? I attempted suicide while in community corrections and was regressed to prison. I want to argue that my mental health condition was not a valid reason for coverting my sentence to prison.
Thank you

Get the pre-printed form, complete it, file it. Try the court's web page. (www.courts.state.co.us), select "forms", then "criminal" then "petition for postconviction relief". The courts give latitude to pro-se motions, so you should be ok.
