filling a false police report
My son's x-girlfriend filed a false report of stalking, harrasing and domestic violence.He was taken into custody for investigation and held for 72 hours. He was then released. they had no evidence. Is it possible to file charges against her for this?

Really, no. We must change Colorado law so that this stops happening. Get out and campaign against your state rep. or state sen. for failing to correct bad law. Or run for state legislature yourself.

A deliberately false report to police is a crime. Getting the cops to charge her is another matter. Good luck.
