Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Fraud
My grandma sold her mobile home and the buyer put the check in both of our names. I depostied the check in my account and before I paid off the loan I spent $5000. I didn't realize this until it was to late. Now I don't have the money to cover the loan and the new owner say I've committed fraud and is taking action. This is the first time I'ver ever been in trouble. What am I looking at?

Re: Fraud
You have indeed committed fraud and you could face a felony conviction.
1. Obtain legal counsel now;
2. Borrow the money and fix the problem ASAP.
good luck
