My friend

Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, How bad can this be to the accused?

He bought alcohol to me and friends but does it matter how much they drank because they all said they took only sips which they really did...

Contributing to delinquency is a very serious charge. It is a felony, can result in years of prison time and will likely cost the defendant his job. AND when he applies for another job, he will be rejected for being a felon.

It doesn't matter if they drank nothing at all, the charge will be the same for the person who provided the booze.

delinquency is like pregnancy, you either are or are not.

if the kids were over 18 but under 21, there is a misdemeanor that should be charged instead.

this is a felony charge
