Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Friend in Jail
Hello, I have a friend that had an active warrant and is in jail now, it happened about 36 hours ago. It was for failure to comply from a few years ago. The bail is set at $2,000. Nobody seems to have the money, or the money for a bondsman. If we don't bail him out, about how long do you think he will be in jail.
I am so worried about him as well as his 3 kids, he has changed so much since then.

If he is in jail on a failure to comply with probation, he must go before the Court handling the probation within 15 days.
