Re: Hit & Run?

Unfortunately, you are most likely a suspect and you need to get an attorney. Under no circumsatnce do you want to have any personal contact with the cops, you need an attorney to do that. Good luck.

Re: Hit & Run?

Figure out where your car was on the date, and who was driving it. Say nothing to the police, and by nothing, I mean nothing; let them do their own work, and don't let them get you to say anything that might come back to bite you, however innocent it may seem to you. If charged, hire an attorney or apply for a public defender.

Good luck.

Re: Hit & Run?

Cops may lie and say they believe you, in hopes of getting some kind of statement from you. Do not supply them with one. If you have no knowledge of this, you need to present an alibi defense. You will need counsel to assist in forming the defense and in gathering things to support the defense.
