hit and run

hello

i have a problem one of my friends ask me for my car to go and buy some things but when he was in the store he hit someone's car an he run form there so know the police belive that i hit the car but wasn't me and i try to call my friend but he did nt answer and he move out what can i do?

Doesn't sound like you have much of a friend. If you have a solid alibi (you can demonstrate where you were at the time of the hit-and-run), you maybe could tough it out and not implicate your runaway "buddy." But the guy doesn't sound like he's worth it, and you'd do yourself a favor by cooperating with the police to point to the real criminal.
