Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
My husband is on parole and is not allowed to drive, but yesterday we went for a drive not far frome the house and hit a deer. Police didnt take him to jail, but he got some tickets. What should we expect from the court? Can they take him to jail?
Thank you.

They can take him to jail. His PO will have that authority. Any new law violation is a parole violation. If convicted of any law violation, the PO will revoke parole and send case to parole board for consideration. If the PO gives a good report, it will likely result in a lesser penalty, but if not, he could go back prison.
