Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
My husband and I were told to take court ordered anger management classes. We couldn't afford the ones on their list, so we took an online class. The judge did not approve them. I don't have $400 per person to take the classes to make the court happy. He also starts a new job soon so we are trying to avoid jail time. What can we do? We were both charged with disorderly conduct.

Contact the probation department; occasionally they have funds to help the indigent.
Otherwise, your best option to avoid revocation remains finding the funds to take the ordered class.
