Ineffective representation of client made known after conviction
Is there any legal means of defense for an offender after he discovers that his Public Defender was in fact neglegent of giving effective defense and he has been sentenced and in DOC for over 6 months?

Re: Ineffective representation of client made known after conviction
After the appeal time has run for the underlying conviction, the appropriate proceeding in which to raise the issue of ineffective assistance of counsel is a Petition for Post Conviction Relief.
