out of jail early- paperwork error
my husband was sentenced to 10 months in jail for dui in colorado. he was granted 51 days times served to be taken off his sentence. when the jail booked him they made a mistake and put him down as being sentenced to 51 days jail. if they let him out after 51 days can they come back on him for not serving the whole time?

If he was sentenced to 10 months, police can come after him. However, if sheriff deputies let him out on day 51, and the Deputies sign a document saying that the sentence is complete, he can use that as a defense. A ten month sentence for DUI is long... unless he is a previous offender.
