Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

my 17 yr old got a ticket the other day for firing a bebe gun in the air and neighbors thought it was a teen w/ a gun,any way he did not go to jail but i was wondering what he was looking at,he has been out of trouble for a year and 1/2 since last ticket,is he looking at any jail time for weapons,previous pot charge and previous curfew

This is likely a violation of a municipal ordinance, and while there may be a fine, no jail time would likely be involved. But check the local ordinance.
