Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I live in Colorado as a registered sex offender and my time is up in April 2010, yet colorado misplaced my papers. I was charged in Arizona and and I found my papers to show that my sentence is up this april. What can I do to get the judge to accept my papers and allow me to de register like I was originally sentenced?

You will file, or have an attorney file a Petition to De-register. Find the forms at www.courts.state.co.us/. You have to notify a few parties before you file.
