Unless you are buying the alcohol for your own child or ward, or have permission of the child's parent or guardian, or you are serving communion or pouring it on a gunshot wound, furnishing alcohol to anyone under 21 years old is a class 1 misdemeanor.
That means you would face a fine of $500-$5000, or six to 18 months imprisonment, or both.
Buy 'em a soda pop.
