I have a medical marijuana card prescribed by a doctor and I'm on probation and they're telling me that I can't take my prescription is that the law

yes it is. MJ is still against federal law and while on probation you have to follow federal law. BUT, some judges will allow MMJ if there is strong documentation of medical need by a doctor. This is done on a case by case basis. Colorado NORML can help you find a lawyer that can help. I have done these.
