Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
When a minor goes to the Sheriffs Office and pays the amount for his warrent on an M.I.P. (only about half of the community service was completed, first time offense) do they still have to go to court? If so, what then? Thanks

It depends upon the language of the warrant, but a warrant is usually not satisfied until the named subject is brought (by the Sheriff or voluntarily) before the court which issued the warrant. Warrants can also be quashed by the court which issued the warrant.
