Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I got a MIP sin months ago and on of my terms of the deal I took was to not get in trouble for 12 months...but I did. I got a possession of not more than one ounce if marijuana (.8 grams) bullshit right? And I went to court today but all I had to do was pay the clerk $200 once I plead guilty. Am I going to have to go back to court for my MIP? I live in greeley Colorado.
Thanks

Most likely they will start a revocation process on your MIP. I wish you had talked to an attorney before pleading on the possession of cannabis charge. The plea can have harmful consequences in the future, i.e. Federal student aid and other federal assistance.
