Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I have a misdemeanor charge of false imprisonment on my record from like 5 years ago (It wasn't a domestic violence case). Will that stop me from passing a background check to own a firearm in Colorado?

Misdemeanors, unless they involved domestic violence, generally will not keep you from owning firearms. If it involved domestic violence, you may not own or possess firearms.
