If a warrant issues, most (all) Colorado Counties will not pay to extradict you from Iowa. That means you may get arrested on the warrant, and sit in jail a few days until police learn that CO authorities will not be coming for you. At that point, you will be released.
Unfortunately, the original offense may be one for which you would not have gotten a jail sentence if convicted. Deal with the Colorado conviction, so that you will avoid the possibility of jail. You may be able to deal with it without ever setting foot in Colorado.
