Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
want to modify a restraing order. Sent Form(Notice of Victimes Position in Regards to Protection Order) to Dist. Att. office on 6/20/12 . Called today 7/11/12 and Dist. Att. office said the prosecotor denied the request but sent the motion to a Dist. Court Judge for a ruling. The Judge has not yet made ruling. Is there anything I can do to pled my case to the Judge.

You can send a letter (directly to the judge, not the DA). Do not make it a long letter. If the victim supports your action, the victim should also write a letter. Short of getting it on the docket (which will require a lawyer and luck), letters directly to the division (the judge) tend to work well. Use plain English, correct grammar, punctuation and spelling.
