Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Moving while on probation
I was charged and issued probation in NC then transferred it to colorado to live with my husband. My husbands job is being transferred to France in four months. What can I do to go with him while I am on proabtion? My term is 5 years and 50 thousand and I have been current with all requirements but I cannot pay off the 50 grand before we move. How can I go with him and remain in good standing with terms of my probation?

Re: Moving while on probation
Moving outside the US is going to meet with a lot of resistance from your PO and the Court. There could be some room if you have already successfully been on probation for years. You say you will not pay off the 50k before you move, but will you be close? If you just started probation, you have a tough ahead.
