Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Neighbor harrassing us.
Last my neighbor told my young children to ''keep our f%@!ng cat off of his property or he will kill it''. They obviously are scared and upset and I don't like that we spoke to them that way. What can I do to protect them and the cat and get him to leave us alone. Thanks.

Report the threat to animal control and the police; also let the police know he used the threatening language to your young children. You might ask the cops if they will have a little chat with your neighbor about the criminal consequences of using threatening language with young children.
Depending upon the size and courage of your biggest and bravest family member or friend, let the neighbor know that if your cat so much as catches a cold in the next few years, he'll be held to answer.
