Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
obstruction
was at a cousin's party, some females got into a fight. female who lost called cops said she was beat up by guys. cops went to house walked right in and aked for three guys by name. i was not one. i didn't do or say anything. cops were using excessive force. nerve damage and scars on wrists from that night. i am only 18 and have never been in trouble or disrespectful towards law. i was charged with obstructing justice. officers refused to give names or badge numbers. what are my odds on beating this charge?

Re: obstruction
if you have good representation and the witnesses say the same, then you have a good chance. But, obstruction depends on your actions during lawful police activity.
So, what were you doing when the police were trying to do their job???
Were you intoxicated in any way?
Re: obstruction
It really depends on what is in the police report as compared to your version of what happened and what the other witnesses say.
