Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
first offender act
i was sentenced under the firt offender a little over two years ago. i completed my probation with no problems. when i fill out job applications do i have to say i was convicted of a misdemeanor? if the job requires fingerprints do i have to disclose the arrest?

No. Technically you were not convicted. If you have to be fingerprinted, the record of the previous arrest may come up. If the application asks you specifically about an arrest, I would answer it. If not, I would wait until the fingerprint comes back. And then discuss it only if questioned about it.
