Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Order of Protection

A woman that I had had a personal relationship with lied to obtain a temporary Order of Protection against me. There will be a hearing 5/7/02 to determine if the Order should be permenant. This was prompted by my ending the relationship and informing her that I wanted to return to my wife. However, she continues to call me at home and at my place of employment. I have even spotted her following me. What can I legally do to stop this behavior and have the Order lifted?

Re: Order of Protection

Make sure you appear at the hearing. You can tell the Judge that you have never threatened to harm her and you are no harm to her. You may wish to get a lawyer that does family law. You can file your own restraining order on her to keep her away from you.
