Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
Using other people's address
I have a brother-in-law ex-con who uses our address without our permission. First, is there any legal responsibility to us if he uses it to obtain credit, etc. Second, is there a way to notify the public at large, he is using our address without our permission?

Re: Using other people's address
If he is still on parole you can notify him and perhaps obtain help that way. If not, you can apply to the court for a restraining order. Beyond that, sit down with an attorney and discuss it in detail.
