Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
A person has been arrested, charged and signed a max plea bargain and bonded out. Can new charges be filed against that person based on the same discovery? No new evidence and no new criminal actions.

Generally, no. However, in some cases new charges may be charged based on specific facts. Other Sates may charge if circumstances so warrant. The other states rule applies to foreign jurisdictions and the Federal government.
