Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I plead "no contest" to Harrassment (F5) 22 years ago in a case involving my ex-wife and her sister. I have had no legal dealing at all since then (not so much as a parking ticket!) I was given 3 years probation. I sucessfully completed my probation without incident and paid all ascociated costs. My sons are grown up now and want to explore hunting and want me to participate. Can I legally purchase a rifle with which to hunt? I am 46 years old and all of this transpired in Colorado.

Unfortunately not. Colorado does not allow for possession of firearms by a previous offender. Neither does the Federal government.
