Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Plead guilty to domestic violence harassment. got probation for 18 mouths. Just wondering if i can ever own a gun again. from what I'm reading it don't sound like it. it was a non Violante email. No prior history of crimes.few minor pot charges and DUI around 7-10 years ago. No trouble in the last 7-10 years Not even trafic violations. Now I'm just wondering if i can ever own a gun again or if i lost that right forever? I read some where the federal law this would not be a dv. Is there any way i can get this right back again? Also I'm having a hard time doing my ua's just hard for me to pee in public I'm 100% clean and talked to Dr about it and he said i can do hair test but it cost 10% times as much as ua's and im having money troubles cant offered that much more. what are my legal rights there? Dont they have to give u something around the same cost? .Im tempted to go do the jail time would be max of 6 mouths. It would save me 1000's of dollers. im having a hard time keeping my job cus of all the stuff they want me to do. 2 breathlizer a week 2 ua's mouth 1 dv class a week i do constrtuion and well im just not realible anymore. those ua's take me hours to do cus no matter how bad i have to go some reson i cant. The money thing is the reson this is killing me the most. I agreed to 1800 dollers and 18 mouths of probation a metal evolintion. But they did not tell me all the costs. A guess on the cost would be around 4000. if some how i can do these ua's and if i have to do hair it would be around 8900. thats almost 5 times what i agreed to cost wise. I mean if they keep me on what im doing right now. So any pointer would be nice. Thanks for the help .

ps sorry so long of ? was just gonna ask about the gun law but i figuered i should ask the rest to.

During the time of probation, you cannot own/possess a firearm. After that, you are ok with CO law, but not with federal law-- unless the feds actually look into the facts of the offense. Jail time would void the BA/UA and probation supervision requirements. Go to "hidden costs" at www.lawyerdan.com.
