Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

The police want my phone thinking I was involved in a crime. My ex killed somebody and they think I knew about it because we were recently together. He told me he did something and I called 911 and the local dispatch but was told they didn't find anything so I thought he lied and we hung out the next day. tue police questioned me and I told them everything that happened but now they are acting like I did something too and they want my phone. I have nothing to hide. So Should I give my phone to the police?
