Pre Trial
What evidence or non evidence in a pre trial has to be presented in order for the case not to go to trial. Can the case be dropped or dismissed at this point. In other words what goes on at a pre trial

You are thinking prelimiary hearing. No evidence is presented in pre-trial hearings. It is in prelimiary hearings. Prelimiary hearings are held in certain classes of felonies. No petty offenses. No misdemeanors.
