Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
probation
My daughter was put on probation for drug charges, I called probation officer to who had just recieved her file and she said do what you need to do, I did and the facility was out of state, the probation officer told the intervention person she could not leave the state, she took her. The legal liason for the facility told me this was ok with the probation officers now it's time for my daughter to graduate from Narconon and wants to stay and train and sign a contract to work there for 21/2 years and I find out the probation officer has a warrant out for her leaving the state

Re: probation
That's a problem that she needs to deal with. It's not going to do any good not showing up. She'll have a revocation hearing at which she can make her case.
Re: probation
Often I see problems with probation that are rooted in a failure to communicate. The arrest warrant symbolizes this failure. Talk with the PO, ask how it can be fixed NOW. A revocation of probation, once probation is revoked by the court (not the PO's tough talk) means that the defendant can now be sentenced to anything she could have originally gotten (years in prison, not jail). This is serious. Address it now. Hire an attorney in the state in which she originally pled.
