Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado
I am on probation for an offense completely unrelated to drugs & alcohol -- I was even completely sober (in my life, not just at the time) when it was committed -- and the probation officer has me on no drugs and no alcohol to excess monitoring. It seems unjust to me. Is there any legal recourse for me?

Yes. File a motion with the court requesting that the court remove that condition as unduly burdensome, as well as unjustified by the nature of the underlying offense. The worst the court can do is to tell you no.
