Legal Question in Criminal Law in Colorado

Probation violation

What am i looking at when i go in front of the judge on 7-22? I am going to court for probation violation. I've been on probation for 21 mths and was sentenced to 24 mths probation. My probation officer said my u.a's were coming back negative and then on the 7-1-09 she gave me court date saying the ua's were coming back possitive. I need to know what i'm facing when i go into court on 7-22. My original charge was assault (M1).

Re: Probation violation

If the judge revokes your probation, the Court can then sentence you to anything that the court could have sentenced you to originally. For M1 assault, you are looking at a maximum of 2 years jail. There are many things you can do to get less time in jail (or another probation), but you aked what you are facing. That is the max you are facing.
